Patient Testimonials for 2007
I have been asked to write a small testimonial for the Web site of the Bear Creek Naturopathic Clinic. I am not a professional web master, have made a couple of web sites mostly on family or personal ideas, so I can only make comments on a purely non-professional basis.
PERSONALLY, I was very impressed with the look of the site, very clean cut and to the point. It gives all the information for anyone looking for a great Naturopathic clinic. I have sent links to my friends about Dr. Cory and his web site.
However, I found out after seeing it that there is only one Doctor in the clinic. As a very new patient, I have found Dr. Cory to be all a small clinic needs in a great doctor; compassionate, knowledgeable, and well-read on every topic he needs to be an excellent healer. I was indeed impressed by my first meeting with him.
As for his one and only Office staff member, I found Pam Coulter to be an exuberant and very friendly greeter, knows her field, and is a compliment to the clinic.
I hope to see her get the credit she deserves on the web site real soon.

I have found a real friend and helper in Bear Creek Naturopathic Clinic. The staff are always courteous, cheerful and professional. Dr. Cory Tichauer is very knowledgeable and thorough.
I have mixed connective tissue disorder, and in just the first year of seeing Dr. Cory, made many improvements beyond my expectations. All without the use of conventional medications that can have many serious side effects.
I no longer have Lupus headaches or lymph gland infections. Dr. Cory also cured the circulation problem I had in my leg for many years prior to seeing him. As an added unexpected bonus, I lost 25 pounds almost effortlessly.

When Dr. Cory took over the practice it was a tough act to follow. Obviously saddened by the passing of Dr. Patrick Donahoe, we were all wondering who would be able to fill the shoes of this wonderful doctor and humanitarian. I was, of course, skeptical at first, but it didn’t take long to realize Dr. Cory was up for the task. We are so lucky to have this knowledgeable and caring doctor in our little town, as he could very well locate to any big city of his choice. Within just months, through diet and supplements as well as natural remedies, symptoms began to subside. I have been a patient of Dr. Cory Tichauer’s since he arrived at Bear Creek Naturopathic Clinic. I came in with a blood pressure reading of 180/120. He said he should refer me to a cardiologist, but we agreed to work together. He was so kind and reassuring. Within months it was going down, without prescription blood pressure medicines. Today it is normal. It does take commitment to follow his instructions. Last Spring I had an awful sinus infection for weeks that would not go away. A call to Dr. Cory and he advised me to spray nose with salt water and to take pantothenic Acid. Went away in a day. Most recently I developed an extremely sore rectum. I live on the coast 2 hours away from Medford, didn’t feel well to make the drive to Dr. Cory, so in good faith I tried the urgent care clinic. The Physician’s Assistant diagnosed a rectal fistula, referral to a surgeon and put me on antibiotics, which I reluctantly took. I hadn’t taken antibiotics in over 20 years. I was scared. I went to another local MD for a second opinion, meanwhile consulting by phone with Dr. Cory, who sent me things in accordance with the diagnosis. The second MD said no, not a fistula, or abscess, but rather a bacterial infection. He put me on 2 antibiotics, which I had a violent reaction to, broke out in hives, itch, itch. Meanwhile, Dr. Cory sends remedies for that. Follow up visit with local MD 10 days later. It’s a hemorrhoid. I was so upset, but relieved. Dr. Cory has now helped me with the correct diagnosis to make it feel better. Taught me a valuable lesson to make the 2 hour drive and have him look at my problems. The most important thing I can say about Dr. Cory is he’s always made himself available, by phone, or even giving me his cell phone number. I feel comfort in that I can reach him anytime. He has a way of explaining things about your body that make you feel so much better, a great comfort. He treats you like a family member. I could not live without him. I carry his cards and have referred him to many people who have been extremely pleased with the results they have gotten under his care. A big warm Thank You to Dr. Cory.
